Thread: Radiant has no decent weapons!

I've spent all night searching the bazaar for parts to load into my new JSF. So far I think I've done pretty good. I ended up with 63k mass left after putting everything but armor and weapons in. The problem now is I'm looking for weapons, but there isn't a decent level 7 or 8 weapon in the entire galaxy (at least that's for sale, saw a couple I was drooling over til I saw the person had em set at like 99 million creds)! I'd really prefer not to have to resort to level 6 gear, and I can't just load a BFG since I'm only 4444, so is there any mission that gives a really nice level 7 or 8 weapon? A ship that can fly circles around any NPC ship in the galaxy means nothing if it has no weapons.

I'm sure there was - some newbie probably just sold it to the chassis vendor.

Shipwrights don't make lvl 7 weapons in your galaxy? How strange. I love my .300 refire crafted lvl 7 blasters. My GF is a shipwright and she sells tons of them.

If you're looking to completely outfit a ship e-mail a shipwright and do a custom order. You'll be much happier doing it this way.

The thing about guns is most people need multiples of them. Most people will RE one part of each, 1 booster, 1 engine, 1 cap, ect. Then they will sell off anything extra they have after that point.
But weapons, you might need 2-4 of them, so if your RE'ing thats a lot of weapons that your using yourself and not selling off. Hence why you find the fewest weapons out of any component on the bazaar/vendors.

I dont find to many quality RE parts on radiant but I usually can find good quality crafted ones. I see TONS of things no matter what category listed at 99999999 credits... cant figure out why anyone does that because they have entire vendors full of those high credit items.

A pair of my advanced blasters will use 29k of your mass and each will give 1540-2634 damage with a .270-ish refire for 27.something EPS and .484 efficiency.
No decent weapons, indeed...

Zutan, they do that as advertising. As in "Look what I got my hands on! Who knows what you'll find at my store, but look at this! If I got this, just think what else I have!"
That's all it is. Thatand storage they have no intention of selling. Since a vendor can hold a ton of items, you can exponentially increase your home's storage by chucking vendors in there. The only reason you see them on the bazaar is because Vendor Search was added recently and allows for every vendor in the galaxy to be searched.

To save housespace ofcourse.
Would be pretty funny to actually buy one of those just to own the guy with the vendor.
