Can I get some feedback regarding the payouts of destroying other fights and especially capital ships. Honestly, the ISD should be dropping @ least 20K credits. I also find that the T4 duty missions should pay a bit more. Either that or some T5 factional duty missions should be availible. I tried the T5 ones above Kashyyk. First, they are not factional. Second, they send gunboats..... a little too much for me.
The point is, I would like to see more money potential in space.

Start looking at some of the "extra" space missions that are available. You can find these at a variety of Space Stations.
Many of these will pay out close to 10k to 15k on their own and through the course of the combat, you might end up looting another 5k to 20k worth of equipment and a credit chip that could be anywhere from a 2k to 7k.
There is plenty of money making opportunities available in space zones. They are quick and easy to make the credits up with as well.

That's still a valid choice that can pay out well.
If you take the destroy missions, you get something like 6k per Flight group and 900 or so credits for the "Ace"/Commander of the squadron you just took out. Since you have three of those flights to take out before the Commander, you end up with 18,900 credits after whacking all of the enemy flights.
In the meantime, you collect a credit chip and a mess of parts to sell.
I still see nothing wrong with the payouts.

I've found space to be one of the best places to make money in the game. So I really don't see how the payouts are too small.

I think the cash you can make in space is a bit too much. Its like a money fountain. Go up in space and sell the junk loot you get. Repairs cost less than 50 credits for me. Way easier than doing ground missions from a terminal or running a craft business and dealing with harvesters.

I disagree. I have masterd 7 of the 9 pilot proffessions so far. I made around 750k per each proffession I completed doing nothing but the story missions and duty missions. I even had to pay an imperial 630k to change my faction from rebel to imperial (I had -5k imp faction). After I finished the last one I had about 4.5 million total credits and started with only around 150k. I kept all my looted parts until both my inventory and back pack were nearly full, then went through, kept those I wanted and sold the rest to the chassis dealer. You can make a hell of a lot of money in space
