I've been able to solo RSF to 4444, but on my exit mission im supposed to fight 2 tier 4 gunboats plus 10 tier 4 ship at the same time. I've tried many times but they go through my shields and armour in 2 seconds.

Is it soloble? (we dont have many pilots on my server). If so how did you do it?

tried again with help of other pilots, still utter defeat, only way possible is to have 9 imperials along to do bombstrike.

I.m.o. they made this to hard, alot of you aces will disagree but hell you try and find pilots on my server

If I remember helping a buddy with this mission we just let the very first part of the mission fail and let all the rebel pilots die and still got sent on to the next part. Might want to give that a try.

Not sure how your ships in this mission spawn, but if it's like one of the Strom Squad tier 4 missions, you have to get near your allied fighters, then get away from them for when the opposing ships jump in. On the SS mission, if you aggroed all the enemies, then the allies just sat and watched. One way I found to encourage the ally ships to fight was to basically go back and forth dragging the enemies right over the allies. Once they get hit with one shot, they all go into action and will start diverting some of the enemy focus.

Storm Squad has an interesting quirk/bug where you can actually skip the tier 4 exit mission and go directly to the admiral in theed palace as soon as you train in the last teir 4 box. I mastered this squad early in January I think, Last night I thought to go grab a duty mission from my tier 4 trainer and to my surprise he gave me the exit mission!

Wow! I've helped with this mission many times on Tempest as a master CorSec, but never had the chance to attempt it solo. 3 gunboats and full compliment of escorts! The only thing that was missing was the vette... No ally fighters either. No idea why either, but they ate through bstrike quicker than anything I've seen to date.

With a cruising speed of 1150ish and boost of 1450ish, I was able to do suicide strafing runs back and forth, hitting ctss once or twice every exit/setup for next run. The entire group of enemies follows you in these missions like no other, which definitely adds to the challenge. My nephew (36 yo) walked into my room right as I got to the mission and, despite being yelled at by his yoda-lookin wife that they had to leave, he stayed for minutes rivetted and amazed at run after run I made head-on into the entire group.

All of this in an oppressor, but I don't think I have any component over level 8. This mission and, from the sound of it, your exit mission are close to tougher than the vette mission, since these mobs actively follow you. I certainly wish you luck with yours, just keeping checking for an imp ace or two and you should do fine.

As a last note, cause I know you're all wondering...aftering beating my 'exit' mission, my tier 4 trainer did NOT tell me to go see the Admiral. He had text about recognizing that I had been of great service to Admiral and then duty mission explanations. Woulda been cool to maybe get a second jacket and second helm I my lizzy can't wear.

I tried soloing this mission last night in my Dunelizard. I stayed behind the group of RSF fighters as 10 Blacksun fighters and 2 gunboats came in. I think they hit some of the RSF fighters since they were in between me and the Blacksun fighters. RSF immediately attacked. Before I was able to get out of the range of the gunboats, but they completely knocked out my rear shield and armor.

I think the RSF kept the gunboats busy so i had to deal with the fighters only atm. I started disabling them and I even dragged them to the nearest Imperial station hoping the TIEs would distract some of them, and they did. After I disabled the last fighter, I noticed my shields were getting killed fast. The gunboats had caught up to me and they finally killed me.

Here's the weird thing about this mission, I went back to the Tier 4 trainer and got the mission again. This time I took my Rihkxyrk to Yavin. When I got there, I waited 2 minutes but the mission didn't start. I checked my journal and the mission was still there. I decided to leave Yavin and get the mission again. When I got to Naboo, there was no mission failure message (since it didn't even start). I checked my journal and the mission was gone. I went back to the Tier 4 trainer and she said talk to the Grand Admiral (for my master missions). I think the mission is bugged.

I would've like to finish this mission and get the reward (if any). This mission was the most fun I had with JTL. Probably because I was by myself. The other times I did my Tier 4 exit missions was with a group so it was a cakewalk (andkinda boring). I think the RSF Tier 4 exit mission can be soloed, it just requires some planning and good piloting.

it is soloable, but it's frickin hard. first time i ran across it was with a big group including quite a few aces and we got gang-banged pretty quickly. i'd recommend going after the gunships first, if you're in a fast ship with eo3 the fighters shouldn't really bother you much anyways, but a gunship sneaking up while you dogfight can spoil your whole day real quick.

I solo'ed this last night. This mission is acutally harder than the vette i think.

Here's what i did.

- Got me a Rhyxirk. Put in the biggest shield i could, largest armor i could, three L8 cannons, 90+ speed engine.

- When the RSF "do-nothings" spawn, i immediatly moved 2500 meters from waypoint and waited there. I dont like gunboats spawning in my lap.

- My first thought was to take out the gunboats. This i think is incorrect. Its not so much the gunboats as it is the combined firepower of the entire BS attack group. The quickest way to whittle that down is to take out the fighters one at a time.

- Did a whole lot of jousting. Disabled fighter, then hauled tail while shunting shields. Id wait tell a full capacitor and full shield for my next pass, and disable another fighter. Rinse and repeat tell all fighters are down.

- Gunboat was next, disable his engine, and ran away. Other gunboat was still be in tow. When cap and shields were full, and the droid controller ready, id turn around and shot out his engines.

- Mop up. Gunboats blind from UNDER and BEHIND.

Before the Grand Admiral could give me my master title, he said I was still on a mission. I checked my datapad and sure enough the Tier 4 exit mission was back on my datapad. I tried soloing it again this time with my Rihkxyrk and I completed the mission. I had to joust the whole group and I took them out one by one. It's soloable, you just need a fast ship (speed 950+), a big shield (like the reward shield), and all 4 level-3 overload commands & cap to shield shunt 3 or 4. Good luck.
