Does anyone feel that the explosioins and efects are just too much when mineing?

ever since RoTW came out, my ping is double than what it used to be...

I mean sometimes i need to wait about 3-4 secs for the efects to die down, just to see the asteroid because of all of the explosians and fire efects!

I cant believe this has no efect on the general lag and ping...
