Thread: I want an Unload Cargo option at space stations.

I would like the ability to unload cargo from my hold to my inventory at space stations. It should be listed as an option like Repair and Land are when you talk to the station. I would think this would be fairly simple to implement. I can see no reason why the station should not be able to unload my ship for me.
Right now I have to do the following to unload my cargo so I can resume mining:
1. Fly to the station.
2. Repair my parts (i use overload programs).
3. Land and wait for the ground game to load.
4. Unload the minerals from the datapad.
5. Launch my ship and wait for the space game to load.
6. Run all my droid programs (it takes a while and i have a fast DI).
It is quite an ordeal to unload your cargo as it stands now. Giving the station the ability to unloada ships cargowould be a great boon to mining. If the station can repair my badlymangled ship, why can't it unload my cargo for me?

Wouldn't that completely defeat the purpose of having a limit to how much you can hold?

No, it would still require you to go out of your way to unload. Just not require the pointless zoning to and from the ground.
Funny thing I find is that if I forget to unload at the starport I can unload out in the middle of Naboo at my house. Oh, but that's right...my ships are all in my pocket.

I second that motion...let us allow space stations unloadour ship......for a price of course...

What about offloading to the Y8 in a docking procedure? Give the Y8 some use. lol
