I am currently a rebel on ground and 4433 rebel pilot. Is it possible to go imp on the ground without dropping my space rebel status? Will it be ok if I went back to rebel before doing anything else in space?

You can't be a rebel ground fighter and an imp pilot or the other way around. You can only be a rebel or neutral pilot as a ground rebel and the same goes for being an imperial. You can be an imp on the ground but then you can only be an imp or neutral pilot.
