Just wondering if anyone thought fitting a y-8 for combat purposes was a good idea giving the fact its not very good at mining.

Hmm, not sure about that one. It's terribly anoying to get from place to place to fix problums from damage and the 2nd turret has a very limited fireing arch. However, unlike the other MP ships it can mount three weapons. With a lightly larger crew than normal it just might work. two people downstairs and two on the main deck just for damage and healing then the rest as normal. Though i don't know enough people to give this a try msyelf those are my observations and opinions.
