Thread: ARC 170 is ther a walk through anywhere??

Looking for some help on teh arc 170 quest... is it soloable? I know the queen starts the mission I have gotten that far cant find who i am looking for it just says head west out of town look for clues...

Pre CU Jedi and Day 2 Vet since the game didnt work on day one.

If you open up your quest journal, it pretty much spells out the next step in the quest at each point. I will give you a helpful hint that I havent seen mentioned anywhere yet though: Just because you have to be rebel combatant to start the quest, and to finish the quest with the queen, doesn't mean you have to be combatant for each step of the way...

Yes, it's soloable. You'll need to be at least Combatant as a Rebel and get the mission from the Queen in Theed. When you leave the starport on Kashyyyk, you'll go past the big tree, and follow the path. This is sort of a "can't miss it" affair. You'll be flying along (though I recommend walking) and get a mission success message.


At this point it gets a little strange. I had a lot of problems with the mission getting Drrlirm to follow me all the way back to town. The method I finally came up with was to get close to where the wookiee is, and kill all the Trandoshan slavers I could see. Then talk to the wookiee, get him to follow me, and tab through targets and kill any *more* Trandoshans that spawned.


Bugs with that mission for me are if the wookiee spawns on the side of the hill, the mission won't work. I also had problems with the wookiee getting to around 100m from the little "gate" that marks the edge of town, and then he would just turn around and go back to the beginning, and won't follow me again.


In all it took about 10 tries before I actually got the wookiee to follow me so I could get the next mission.


From there it was actually pretty easy.

how hard was the space portion of the mission? completable by a solo x-wing with 2 weapons?

There is one part where 3 tier 3 ships turn up after doing the Dath prison section, which is to be blunt, a piece of piss. Big tip, go on leave when you go to the prison. No Stormie will attack you when you are on leave



Other than that it is a case of walking about the galaxy with a couple of rugs Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

The only combat that I got into during the whole series of that quest was when I had Drrlim follow me and after I had freed the wooks from the Imperial Prison on Dath.

It's infinitely soloable.

The ARC-170 is quite a sweet ship too.

It will take normal Paint Kits, but will take none of the standard paint scheme kits.
