To better serve the pilot community I'd like to get a feel for crafted components. I've also noticed MANY pilots that are higher end pilots are unaware that crafted engines and such are as good as they are.
The only ship components I keep on my vendors are Capacitors, Boosters, Engines, Droid Interfaces, and Ordanance/Countermeasures/launchers of course. I usually only keep Mark II (LVL3), Mark III (LVL5), and Mark IV (LVL7) on my vendorsbut I docustom build higher.
Here is what I typically build.
Mark III Droid Interface:
~2600 mass
~18 speed
~2600 mass
~18 speed
Mark III Booster:
~3k mass (?)
~38 acceleration
~37 max speed
~1200 energy
~30 recharge

Mark III Capacitor:
~4k mass (?)
~45 recharge
~800 energy

Mark IV Starfighter Engine:
~11k - 13k mass
~95 - 100 speed
~65 - 70 Y/P/R

I'm only 1 2 1 1 freelance pilot (you should see my heavy scyt though
) Is there anything different that folks would prefer? I personally don't like the low booster energy and recharge, but the speed is nice. I don't remember the EXACT mass on the boosters and Capacitors, but I think that's close. As higher end pilots what would YOU prefer. These components seem to be the best "bang for your buck" as far as crafted components vs. reverse engineered components go.
What do you upper end pilots think? Are these about where they should be?
