ive tried doing the final mission for the tie intercepter guard (kashyyyk space station quests). i disable the vette no problem, but i just cannot get it escorted safely for the life of me the fighters spawn infront of the ship and have a clear shot at the bridge and it only takes one hit for me to fail the mission.does anyone have any tips?

If you disabled the corvette the way most people have been, then it still will have most of its guns, as well as the reactor and bridge. If you took out the reactor, you didn't need to, and thus the easy prey.

the guns respawn when it gets under your control, and i only took out the engine.

I had the vette blow up twice right near the end point trying it solo. Get a good pilot friend to help. I called on one of the fellows I helped get his ace and two of us had no problems. Other suggestions include not disabling its guns when you disable the vette, so it can defend itself and if you fly out in front of the vette and get a hit on the incoming fighters before they are in range of the vette, they will attack you more than the vette itself.

Don't use bstrike on this for that exact reason; the damage it inflicts is entirely out of your control.
