Hello funseekers!

I want to offer my Corvette/ISD destroyingskills to anyone trying to get to Master Pilot, be they Rebel, Imp (for corvette), or Freelance.

But here's my question guys, how much should I charge? What's fair?

Rebel Corvette - $$

Imp Corvette (harder thanRebel)- $$

ISD - $$

Please respond if you actually have some figures, not just to say, "I do it for free!". I gotta feed my spacemonkey kids.

I always fly for free - I enjoy it, and it gives me an excuse to fly. If I don't feel like flying, I say no.

I've been payed before, sometimes if they offer me cash I'll take it. But I've never charged a fee.

I do it for fun if I have the time spare...

And so many other people are the same, that you'll be lucky to find someone gullible enough to actually pay you for it

Duties for credits, missions for free. The money's more consistent that way.

On the other hand, when I help with missions I reserve the right to blow up as much as I want, so I usually come away well compensated in gear and credits.

I'm dying for a day when I help someone in a mission vs t4 Black Suns, and loot a helmet. Will they notice? Will I tell them? I just don't know... *evilgrin*

Well, I guess I'll have to stick to Bounty hunitng to feed my spacemonkeys. Besides, it is a lot of fun to help with the Corvette and hear the praise from those you help.

Okay then, free of charge.

Paying for the ISD is kinda iffy, because you never know if you're going to run into someone like me, who takes the time to check on the ISD from time to time to verify the condition is staying static.

I would go by the amount you could make running a T4 duty in an hour, which should be around 100-150k (125k for academic purposes). Then split that by 60 to figure out how much per minute your time costs.

Obviously, it would NOT be in a pilot's best interests to keep you on the clock if the Vette hasn't spawned in three hours.

125,000 / 60 = ~2085-2100cr/min. (2083.3....3 actual). So if he contracts your services and you spend two hours finding (due to a bum spawn) and destroying the Vette, that's 250k. Obviously, in this occurrence, it would behoove your "employer" to ask you to split off and contact him later when HE finds the Vette - sort of like asking a cabbie to come back later (if he's not busy) vs. having him wait. He'll most likely do both, but you'll pay a lot more for the latter.

If he spots it, sends you a /tell and you start charging from the time you launch and it takes 10 minutes total, 21000 credits. Plus anything he owes you for prior services (like futzing around Kessel for 30+ minutes looking for a Vette).

I like that idea about charging the same as a BS duty..That makes sense to me

And about you checking the SD, I don't mind dying there because there is no decay...If in fact you can kill me.

Being a Master Pilot is like owning a pickup truck... someone always wants you to come over and help them out.
