Thread: Tier 3 Smuggler Alliance Trainer Question
I had this problem too. During tier 2, when you came back from a mission the tatooine space station should have asked you for help with something before giving you the option to land. If you accept and complete that mission, you get a set of "forged palace documents" that you have to sign your full name to. You then talk to the pilot outside the palace. This is where I ran into a bug, but you're supposed to just be able to say "I need to get into the palace," he'll look at the documents, and presto... you've got access to the whole palace, including the throne room where your new contact is.
If you didn't do that mission, I think you're screwed but I couldn't be wrong.

I didnt see that option.. I usually land at Corellia, because its so close to the Hyperpoint.. perhaps I should do look at that space station
thanks for the reply
Well.. after about 4 hours I finally got access to the trainer..
Some one should really look into this issue, because althou I would like to do jabbas at some point, It was Not my intention to do it now.. and defently not on this Crafter Char...
IF its really true that one of the Tier 2 missions grant access to the palace, then it should be Default access and not something from a station, or you need to Know that the station have something for you.
Did as much as Jabba Themepark as nessacary. after the Garage you get access to Jabbas room, and in there are the Trainer.
The highest level mob was 30, 2 of them at the same time.
And then there was the Kitchen quest, Meat Beast... It spawned right in the middle of Krayt Heaven, good thing that a few large partys already was beating on the krayts, so I Waba could run in and slay the beast.
You need to be in tier 2 of SA in order to be offered the mission. You must take the mission before you are 2222. Otherwise they do not offer it too you.
The mission is really a b*tch at 1211 and not much easier at 1212 or 2212. While you can solo it, it isn't easy. I just flew it solo last night at 1211 and didn't quite get it done. Tonight I try again at 1212. I would suggest most people bring along a higher tier friend.
The mission:
Phase one starts you off with an escort of a hutt dunelizzard (style 2). You need to dock withit in order to start the mission. It is a red dotand can be targted so DON'T SHOOT IT!The mission first tries to bore you to death as NOTHING happens for a few minutes. Youeventually get attacked by 3 tie fighters and a tie bomber, all tier 3. The second wave will arrive shortly therafter so don't take too much time. The second wave is usually 2 ties, a tie interceptor and another bomber also all tier 3. The third wave follows shortly after the second and is identicle to it. This part was not too hard for me, but I have had JTL for long time and I was in my heavy scyk with the uber lvl 4 engine. Once the dunelizzard gets to its exit point the mission is a success even if you still have ties trying to kill you.
Phase two sends you to Yavin. At tier 2, this is a bad thing. Once you get to the waypoint (assuming you dont get killed on the way) you are attacked by a pair of tier 4 a-wings. These things are too fast for your tier 2 ship. I can almost guarantee it. My ship was doing 810 and I could just stay with them. They are also to tough for your tier 2 guns. You could kill them eventually except that thier friends show up... two more tier 4 A-wings. I know from having done this mission before that another pair will show up after that too.
I am sure that it is possible to solo this mission at tier 2. I plan on doing so myself. I trained up 1212 and bought a flight computer for cap overcharge 2 and cap to shield shunt 2. I will kill those damn a-wings eventually... but it isn't going to be easy.
I recommend that you bring a friend that doesn't cringe when you say tier 4 a-wings. Some people simply hate the darn things. My main toon can kill them pretty easily, but then he is a master pilot with a fast ship and really big guns...
I don't honestly know what sadist at SOE thought this was a appropriate tier 2 mission.
Just completed this mission myself. Failed the first 2 tries, then got someone to help me.
Now comes the strange part...
Met the contact in Tattooine space, and destroyed the Imperial ships that spawn during the escort run. Fine so far... Got to Yavin, met the contact, then set off for the second WP, expecting the first 2 A-wings to appear any minute... Instead, I get a flight of 5 Hutt T3 Scyk's !!! Bah ! Mowed them down np, strangely tho, my wingman could not damage them ??? It was too easy, I didn't even need a wingman, just wasted his time(big, big thx to Aziel anyway ![]()
But, at the end of the mission, there was my"Palace Access Document" in my inventory ![]()
Does this mission change from time to time ? Or when u are grouped ?
