Or, just to continue to be a smart-alec, you could observe where they spawn when other people kill them. Then you'd be growing as a pilot at least.
I hate these spawn points.

"Camping" the Evil Tyrant spawn does not make you a weak pilot. You have to be at least Tier 4 or higher to be able to easily shoot tyrants as you sit still in position. Is it a way to hone your pilot skills? no its not.Is it a way to grind pilot exp? Yes just as any other prof grinds exp in various ways that are seen as boring and not contributing to the profession. The Tyrants spawn has become a favored spot for Dbl Exp week grinders and lets not forget the rapid loot drop rate which provides both a nice source of credits and components for RE. For new pilots I suggest you do your pilot missions...spend time exploring all the galaxy fighting all types of enemy ships....learn the skills of flying first and foremost. But I see nothing wrong in camping Spawn locs for the purpose of gaining credits or loot same as many spots are camped in the ground game. Also we have lots of master pilots redoing their pilot trees for the 3rd and 4th time for whom getting fast exp is the goal not skills.
ive got JTL day it came out.. ive near mastered pilot 5 times, and tbh.. CBA with all the flyin after pirates O.O
i've explored the galaxy, ive helped to wipe out people's vettes... im not a space noob just never relaly thought about doin lvlin this way b4 O.O

Evil tyrants give 1660 exp per kill (3320 during Dbl Exp week). Figure 3 kills per 15 secs thats 12 kills per min or 720 kills per hour = 1,195,200 pilot exp or 2,390,400 pilot exp during DBL exp week. Plus you make about 125k credits and get about 50-75 loot items per hour.
