I am reading people saying they are getting the black ace helm off Tier 4 ships, but what ships? Also does anyone know of a location that spawns these aces and if so what planet, what WP, and cords would be hot if you had them.

Any suggestions?

Try Endor system would be my first guess.

anyone? I encountered random ones around tat but nothing concrete in a spawn. ( i was close to the tat station when i was ambushed by tier 1+2s 5000m out)

Theres a spawn of Tier 4's near the Red Sin area in Endor..I think 3 spawn...and respawn again shortly after you kill them...

Rumor has it that the helmets can be "liberated" from Black Sun pilots in the more remote sectors of space or while flying certain duty missions for your faction. The chances of finding a wreck that happens to have an intact pilot's helmet are quite slim, however, for obvious reasons.

Well I grinded from 640k to 1mil on tier 4 fighters/mauraders in Endor with no drop. Figure 3200-3600 a kill an avg of 3400 would give me roughly 105 kills without the drop =(

Can Imperial Ace Pilots get Black sun duty missions?

I had thought that there were some mobs, flying in flights of 4 Tier 4's, called "Black Sun Aces" near the Witch's Blood POI in Dathomir system. Place is a little choppy to fly around in, even with the nebula density turned way down.

regular tier 4 (non ace)black sun ships drops them as well
