Thread: Question about Storm Squadron Tier 4 exit mission...

The last part of the mission has one gunboat, two novas, and a dozen fighters or so. I keep failing this mission because I run out of time (assuming I manage to stay alive).
My question is, do you have to destroy everything, or just the gunboat? Or just the gunboat and the novas?
PS Anyone soloed this mission?

That is exactly the mission where firepower might not be enough even if you're a good pilot to stay alive. As it was told bring more people. I guess 2 players already can do it.

I tried that alone several times and it was way too hard.
I did it with two other wingman and we aced it. (my wingmen were both 2222's and me a 4333)
Call in reinforcements on the Nova with your Imperial special as soon as they enter. Let them and the other Imperial NPC's tangle with the Nova while you(wingman) take care of the Fighters and Bombers.

I took a tier4 freelance pilot with me on this mission last night and we did it fairly easily. He was in awe at how cool my mission was, it looked like a battle in space. He has soloed every one of his freelance missions and admited to me he didn't think he could do any of the tier3 and tier4 storm missions he has helped me with.
After doing the tier3 missions I thought the tier4 one was pretty easy, but the upgrade from an interceptor to a tie-advanced is helping a ton. One wingman will make a lot of difference and two should all but gaurantee a victory. If you are on Flurry and need help with it send me a tell.
