really wish it gave you a warning when someone was attempting to lock missiles on you so you could try to shake their lock.....like you can in EVERY OTHER flight/space combat sim set after WWII.....

- Just take into account that countermeasures are released behind you, thus if you have a frontal attack you might want to turn around so that missiles will meet countermeasures first.
- you might have not much time to release countermeasures (from half a second to several seconds) which means if you have a missile lock on you then you don't have much time, you should release CM asap.

So what kind of counter measures are you using? I only have enough mass for micro chaff... as the EM emitter and IFF are too heavy. So do you actually see something come off your tail ?

Micro-Chaff are probably your best bet. If you can't find any with decent #s find a SW and request 75-100% effectiveness. (or better).
The other 2 droppers are indeed too heavy, they seem designed specifically for MP ships. Shame.

Press your "Fire Countermeasures" button after you see "Missile Lock" but before you get hit.
