Thread: Black Epsilon Tier 4, 4th Mission Bug

I have completed this mission 4 times now. Every time I reach the successful end of the little patrol bit, the YT-1300 is there - but the mission has 'disappeared' from my datapad. I disable the YT, inspect and see the orders. Dock and retrieve the orders. No updates tell me I've failed or succeeded. Head back to Insurgent, and he gives me the mission again. Over and over...
On the bright side, at least the mission is solo-able and only takes 35 minutes, so repeating it isn't the end of the world. But it IS frustrating and stupid. /bugged, /bugged and /bugged again. Anyone else getting this?

got black epsilon ace like 2 weeks ago, maybe 3, got no problem at all

I am currently having this exact same issue. Did you ever find a resolution? I failed it once by blowing up the YT. Every time i've done it after that is says "Mission Successfull" after going through the waypoints but the trainer says I failed. I can disable and inspect and dock with the YT but it doesn't do anything after that. I even tried tracking down and disabling the YT before finishing going through the waypoints and it still didn't work. After docking the mission doesn't change then it says Mission successfull after flying the waypoints. I'm tired of telling Insurgent how tough the mercs are, because they aren't. I'm sick of this mission. I've done it about 10 times now. ARGH

Believe it or not, don't tell him how tough the mercs are.
Choose the other chat option...
When I did it, I failed for the exact same reason - blew up the 1300. Fell into that same loop.
My cure for the problem was choosing a different one of the pair of chat options each time (had to go back twice).
Stupid, but it worked for me.

I think I've gone through every answer combination possible. One of them talks about how maybe they aren't really mercs, and the other talks about how he wishes he could be out there. But I get the same result either way.
What happened after you chose the other option? Did it let you complete it successfully? Or did he just mark the mission as complete?

As I said, I had to go back twice to finish it -
Once choosing a different than what I had chosen the first time, then the next back to the first choice.
Silliness.
So I did it a total of 4 times:
1 - failed
2 - chose text option 1
3 - chose text option 2
4 - chose text option 1
Of course #2 I did about 4 times as well, bugged... but that was the process I did to break the loop.
