It seems as if at the moment, the mission to get access to Jabba's only gets offered once, from the Space Station in Tatoo. If you did not do the mission when it was offered, or you passed the point where it was offered before the patch that added the mission, you will be able to land at the Palace, but not get inside. Certainly report this as a bug and in the Live Issues threads Tiggs puts up. It's unfair and important for noncombat players.

I was offered the missionafter I completed the Escort mission in Tatoo space. It was the mission to earn the last tier2 box.

If you are past this point you have 3 choices:

Wait for a fix

Drop Pilot and start again (this isn't too hard and with someone to help you grind, it can be done in one evening)

Find someone to take you through the Theme Park

Personally, option two isn't as bad as it seems, you can get loots and rewards all again, most notably the nice tier4 booster and the bandolier.

Made it before all hell broke loose.

I haveread several posts regarding this but could not find a simple clear answer. Do you have to do the jabba quests to further your piloting career and get into the palace? I can land at the palace that is not the problem. The question is can I get in to see Bessie or whatever her name is without doing the quests? I m a dancer/artisan so this will be very difficult for me as it is difficult to get friends to come to Jabba's with me to run all those darn misisons it takes to get into the palace.

By doing the quest to land at the palace you should be able to get right in.
