Thread: Recommended grinding locations for 2nd tier Privateer...

I was wondering if I could get some suggestions as to where are some good locations for 2nd tierers to grind. I've found that in the yavin system there is a spot where "scavengers" spawn and give 1600 xp per kill but was wondering if there are any additional good places for a 2nd tier pilot to solo for good xp.

there are some good spots in lok, full of tier 2's and three's of all three factions fighting each other

Why don't you just grab your kill mission from your trainer, and go through it?
If you have good enough equipment, you should be able to plow through the entire duity mission... which, if you kill everything, should give enough XP to fill a box... plus the ~50k credits just from the mission, as well as loot, and loot credits.

I've got a great place, in the gunner's seat of the Flare. I'll take you on a nice XP run against tier 4 and 5 ships.

I only had to work hard for experience for my first tier2 box. once I had components, I and a friend went to Nym's Hovel in Lok. Then head to the Corsairian Crescent POI. Stay near the Dumbell station and shoot at Corsair Man O'Wars. Don't bother chasing the Z95s nearby, just wait for the quickly spawning Man o'Wars. Get some shots in and have your partner blow them up. This speeds the process up, but it is also easily managed solo. With a friend you can get enough xps for your last 3 tier2 boxes in about half an hour.

Had fun last night His, a ton of it. We ended up not being able to finish but should be able to take it out tonight no problem now that we know what to do. Let me know if you are interested!
