Thread: How do you disable a ship?

:I'm stuck on this mission where I have to disable an ace pilot but I don't know how to disable a ship. I keep killing the guy and fail the mission...


any help will be appreciated

push the [ or ] buttons (default for selecting components) and you can target there engine/reactor to disable them

And here I was trying to hunt down an ion cannon... Guess I played the old Lucas Arts flight sims too much....

yeah I remember that... you disable the shields with an Ion Cannon but you couldnt damage the hull with that weapon lol...



In JTL you can do all kinds of damage with all weapons but still Ion Cannons are most effective against shields and Blasters against armor!!!

Ion Cannons for sheilds,
Disruptors for amour,
Blasters are the all-round work horse, and have the best sound effect
