Thread: need help last imp mission for tier 3

Im stuck on the exact same mission. Have been for a month now. The first three sections are pretty easy though I occasionally lose against the shuttle because of the escorts. That gunship though is friggin near immpossible. I literally dont last past the first volley. Doesnt help since the ship will give chase like a fighter rather than act like I would assume a small cruiser would. Good luck finding help though... Ive been asking for help on Kauri for weeks and have only had one person help (heh they left though before the fight battle.) If there are any others reading this Id love to know if theres some kind of trick to beating this solo as well.

I am totally stuck here too. I remember glancing at a post a long time ago on how to take out this corvette from this mission, but I can't find it...
Anyone have any advice for us?

I can't remember the exact mission you're talking about, unfortunatly.

Well the mission is (I believe) the last one that Inquisitor Vrke gives you. The last tier 3. In it you have to first jump to Dathomir and destroy General Breckons Lambda shuttle, next you have to escort a decimator prison ship, then you destroy a wing of rebel fighters (around 10-12 of them), after that you have to destroy the Price of Liberty, a tier 3 rebel gunboat with about 6 tier 3 xwing escorts.

ahhh, yes...the Price of Liberty, aka the "I'm gunna chase you all around the sector" ship.
I did this mission by hitting and running, I'd try to destroy (or at least severely damage) one of the escorts, and then I'd run like hell, until I had the escorts far enough from the Liberty to try and finish it off, or take another one on.
Easiest solution is to bring a couple of aces along lol

Hi, at least I think it's the last imp mission for tier 3. First I have to kill a traitorous general (shuttle)and his escort, ok no problem(took slight damage nothing serious). Then escort doctor Shinss prison shuttle, ok, so far so good. Now go fight in a battle with other tie's, piece of cake there. Now I have to take out a reb command shuttle and it's escort...problem. Even with bomber strike1 and a space bombI last less than a minute. I usually don't worry about the escorts and if i do i just disable one and move on to the next. Can this be done alone or do I need help? Thanks in advance.
