I'm kind of tired of seeing the vette, freighters, etc pivot on one axis in mere seconds. Seeing as how my A-Wing won't even pivot that fast... How many times have you been behind the 'vette and it "snap-pivots" to bring its guns to bear? I have no problem with being hit, it's part of the game. But when a ship THAT big can turn THAT fast, there's a *serious* screw up in the ship physics. Poor crewmen/women. Guess they get turned to mush, huh?

I agree with the snap turning, but the corvettes in Kessel are not doing that in order to get a shot on you. They fly zigzag flight paths across the systems and turn at predetermined spots. They flail about while adjusting their course and then fly straight until the next turn.
If you can accurately predict (or stalk them and record) the turning points then you will be able to make your attacks while it is calm and be a safe distance when it goes to turn.
But still, our ability to adjust tactics to fit does not mean the capital ships should be able to turn like they do.

Thanks for the input Sheena. Now that you mention, it WOULD make more sense for them to be turning at specific points. It would seem more realisticif they just turned at 10% of the current speed. A nice, slow pivot would look much better...
