Thread: This has probably been asked for a pile of times , but can we get space for an extra ship

the only problem is database space. And the time to change the code. But considering we are using the lots for the mp ships that dataspace used to store the mp ships is for the most part accounted for.
Yes and No.
Each ship takes up database space to store (equip) up to 15 parts too - I think that is the issue they are trying to control.
This is a flawed argument tho, as those parts are going to exist SOMEWHERE in the database no matter what, whether in a player ship or in a house, bank or vendor. If I want to own 50 ships all with their own set of parts I will, and I will find a vendor or lot swapped house to put them in if I have too, begrudginly. Oh wait, I'm a shipwright - I own about 200 ships all with parts - hehe.
The 3 ship limit is merely another time sink.
Limiting us to 3 slots does not stop me from having an unfair advantage, it merely inconveniences me. Calling it an unfair advantage is silly too, it's not like my personal inventory where if I had room for 500 items I could carry one of every kind of food and spice as well as 5 sets of armor and 20 weapons along with everything else we use in PvP. In space I can only use one ship at a time with one set of parts.
But you'd think $30 for the expansion would cover the cost of at least as many slots as we get for droids (many of thesehold 10 items and/or 150 schematics).
3 is not enough, it's horribly inconvenient to have to unequip and redeed a ship all the time, especially since MP ship owners are already doing this every time they fly to turn the alarm off. Veterans are unfairly penalized for using their Yacht and it doesn't even have parts! Ihave heard redeeding it does not free up the lot it took anyways, soit only gets worse....
Managing my datapad space for half an hour a dayis not my idea of fun - a game should be fun not a chore. Please give us 5 ships in our datapad!
