Someone told me that you can only have one MP ship active, instead of 2, if you place items in it... Is that true?

If so, can I re-deed the MP ship for another with all the items being intact in deed form or will the items just be placed into my inventory? Or... Can I not re-deed a ship period until I remove all items?

I have a Yacht and a YT-1300 in my datapad both with items in them - cost me 2 lots.

It is not true.

You can't redeed it until you remove all the items and parts.
