Thread: RSF, End of Tier 4 mission, failure.

Im in the RSF, and have just finsihed Tier 4. I got a parctiluarly tricky mission where I have to have a number of encounters with a Black Sun fighters.
The first time I did the mission on my own and did the first two phases and died in what I presumed to be the final battle (as there were masses of ships and a few novas thrown in for good luck). I later redid the mission with some wingmen, however the phases seemed to be alot harder, with T5 ships spawning that I didnt encounter the first time. Long story short we ended up failing the mission. I went back to the trainer to get the mission again, but instead of giving my the same mission, she instead sent me off to talk to the Imperial Admiral who has started me off on the Kessel related master missions.
I wouldnt be so dissapointed by this, after all I am progressing, but I feel a bit cheated that I missed out on the mission that I was doing before, and cant seem to have another go at it.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is it meant to happen? Will I get another go at it?

The 4444 mission appear tobe 2-part missions. Failing the first part (with an MP enemy ship) does not seem to matter. not sure if failing the 2nd does either, since I've never failed that...

im having problems with Teir 4!
I attacked a gunboat and helped the B wing bombers. We killed the gunboat..... Mission failure.
No problem we get another mission.
Go and get attacked by like 100 tie fighters..... now I gathered a group of five people to do this mission. I get bombarded because of course im the damn mission holder. I freaking jump to another sector to regroup my sheilds.....
Mission failure because im 6K away even though my squad is there fighting! W_T_F is this unrealistic crap! It just dosent make sense if I gather up my squad and place them there why the hell do i get mission failed when the fight is still happening with my squad?
I didnt abandoned my mission, the fight is still on! Why mission faliure? Because I have to be there?> Unrealistic if I need to regroup to get my sheilds back in order.
This is for rebel Havoc missoin teir 4 the last mission. Unreal and stupid.

Are we going to assume then that it doesnt matter if you fail the 4444 missions, as you are forced to progress anyway?
