it let you dock wiith it? did you check your loot box after word? wouldnt surprise me if it dosent work I'd also like to know for sure.

I tried this for fun. I disabled a tier 2 freighter, inspected it(a clothing shipment lol), and docked with it. Said I retreived the cargo,

but when I tried another one, it said that it was impossible to extract the cargo or something like that.

Note: I'm a master smuggler, fly a dunelizard at the moment, and did not read all the posts(just skimmed it looking for a red name)

so sorry if this post is non-constructive.

The only stuff that's ever appeared in the loot box (including after docking, because we were specifically checking this) was stuff we got for blowing up enemy ships. (Weapons, armor, engines, credit chip, etc)

Yep - if that freighter is carrying a weapons shipment, I want to loot a gun out of the deal. That's pretty open to abuse, though probably less so than just randomly blowing them up looking for loot.

Maybegive them the equivalent tothe pirate trap skill as a distress call to bring in like-factionedfighters?

OK me and my crew on a nova have been killing raping and pillaging those poor frieghters for

hours at a time to see what we could actually manage to get .. the answer .. nothing naddar and ziltch

Ok so far i beleave that it does nothing.... BUT it will probably do something in the future for special missions OR maybe the smuggler revamp, as the smuggler revamp said stuff about having to steal special compontnents and get special components from crates to make spices if you remember the little bit TH said ages ago.

Keldorion of Chimaera + others on other servers when i deside to reactivate them.

But it would still be nice to get an answer from someone who knew for sure.. But dosnt seem to be possible

I was wondering about this too! thought I was the one that was bugged. hmm.. It would rock. But I am 2211 Corsec and I can only attack heavy freighters. It won't allow me to attack light ones, But when I inspect them they normally don't have anything on them anyway...

C'mon DEVS!!! or anyone! WE NEED AN ANSWER!

also it is not only Freighters that have cargo, in the Yavin System there are Teir 2 Firespray's labled as something like Damiged Misteries Firespray, that have a cargo of Strange Text
