Has such horrible coverage on the turrets that it's not really effective as a group mining system...knew that.
Has some collision detection problems...knew that.
Here's my wonderful fun new discovery (for me, at least), that I didn't know before...
None of the turrets seem to work. My buddy and Iwere sittingnext to each other, he got into the top turret, I was piloting. I looked on his screen...when I fired my primary weapon out of the pilots chair, it never registered on his screen. Also, as soon as he fired the top turret (a tractor beam at the time), it continually fired on my screen forever. He got out of the turret, it was still firing (from my perspective).
We get to the 'roid, I open up on it.....10 minutes straight, no asteroid chunks break off. Okay, I think....forward mount is broken. Fine...we'll work around it.
So we mount a mining laser on the top turret. I can see it firing - good sign. We fire it at an asteroid for 10-15 minutes...nothing. Wonderful.
Tried it on the back....same thing.
I could deal with the horrible arcs...my team is always ready for a challenge, and we had guys that were willing to work around that issue by piloting the ship and positioning it so that we could possibly make a semi-effecient team. What stops us? The turrets won't work.
So - anyone else experiencing this fun bug?

If someone came to me with this design for a ship for mining.
a) I would laugh
b) I would cry
c) I would tell the person to go home and start a new design.
What unbelievable moron could design such a flawed ship and get it manufactured/pixeled on our PC's
