Thread: Shunt? Please explain

Hey,
I've been reading thru the posts and keep hearing shunt your shields...Could someone please explain this process! Is shunting done by a droid command/ chip? Sorry for the noob questions

My bad...im trying to read thru the posts and calculate IP schema's all the same time..Your right i should just sit down and read it all..Thanks for shooting me in the right direction

Yes it's a Neutral Pilot droid command..You want to use it(Capacitor to Shield Shunt4) in conjunction with Capacitor Overload 3 wich gives you the extra capacitor energy you need to help recharge shields instantly in an emergency.
BTW the typical most common neccessary droid commands you should be using are Reactor Overlaod 3, (WO3) Weapon Overload 3,(CO3)Capacitor Overload 3, (EO3)Engine Overload 3 and (CTSS4)Capacitor to Sheild Shunt 4. Using any lvl 4 overloads other then CTSS4 will give you reactor/system problems since they use too much reactor etc and are hard to to balance.
