Can anyone tell me if there is a specific way to get the AT-ST to move. On my server when you get to the waypoint there arre like 15 AT-ST's. Should I just try the mission tomorrow or is there a way past this? I already failed it once due to the darn thing not moving. Which meant another trip to the bones.
Any help?

Failed the first time, on my second my at-st was stuck on the hill next to the gate, after an hour it freed itself but it wouldnt follow me, did ne 1 else get this?

my bug with the atst, is that okay, once you got close enough to the village, the mission reported success. i had to log out to restard my quest part 2 cause i was on leave, and couldnt attack the rebels..(doh!) . all the while now i'm getting system messages saying i've failed to remain close enough to my escort(i ran down to the admiral once the mission journal said i was done with the escort). now that i have finished the whole quest, i still recieve that annoying spam every 10 seconds while i'm in kachiro( at least, havent gone to other parts yet).

I've done the Jedi starfighter aka the Delta-7 quest 4 times now. The ATST part is simple but you have to follow a few rules, first off you need to have a ranged weapon even if you are melee. I was using a laser riffle at level 65 to take down all the rebels on the hills in 4-5 shots. Next big factor is the path you use, once you get your atst spawned go AROUND the little hill island that the atst's are next to. Doing this gives the server time to spawn the rebels, if you take the direct route sometimes the ATST will hang due to being argo'ed by unspawned rebels. Next tip is to walk in the middle of the path all the way back.. don't use a mount or speeder.. don't run.. just walk and if you walk up any of the steep hills then 9 times out of 10 your atst will get stuck.

It got stuck on that hill and wouldn't even free it's self after 90 min. I tried to take out any rebels that spawned high in the hills but I wasn't even able to get a clear line of site on them and my last attempt to get one caused me to be away from the at-st for to long (although I was back next to it in under 10 sec. from when I got the warning).
So it looks like I'll have to wait for a 3rd time in a line for the data pad. This time I'm hoping no FoE macro looters show up to act like total a$$holes and steal them while the rest of us with manners and respect for others wait in line.

Also, I'm not going to do this mission again until I see there's a fix for it.

Thanks alanna. Good tips. thing is though I agree with above poster. I do not even want to try this again till I hear there is a fix for it. To have to sit on Dath for however long is depressing.

I had the On-leave issue myself, but when the rebels attacked there was a bunch of Imps around and they cleared them out and I got credit for it. The fun part was the forest when we had to kill the convoy. I had help and almost didn't make it out.

Click on the atst. Make sure you move it around a bit.. I walked away from the base first to make sure it hooked up. Also I tried a right away. DOnt know if it helps but it worked for me.

I almost wonder if AT-ST pets couldn't be used to take out the Rebels on the hill.
They're worthless now for the most part - might as well risk one of my three. :/

I pulled out a trooper and tried to have him attack the rebs on the hill. No joy there. Maybe I will try the personal AT-ST trick since it is tall.
My big trouble was there was 15+ AT-ST's there when I arrived and I could not figure out which one was mine.
Hopefully the server has cleaned up the mess today and I can complete this phase.

You tell which one is yours by seeing which one has the visible HAM bar and jumps from CL1 to CL65.
