Thread: Load Freezing out of Talus

Recently I've been having a problem while loading into space. The cicular loading timer thing gets to the very last line, then just stops. It'll stay that way indefinately, and I won't load fully. Sometimes I can breaks this by hitting the forward and back keys, but sometimes I can't, and have to shut down swg complately and re-load. One of my guildmates has experienced a similar problem, has anyone else?

I had this as well i had hit eject and all of a sudden i was sent to the character select screen!
Went to reload and it hung.
It finaly loaded after a few minutes of waiting.

I been having this issue as of late as well seems to only happen when I launch from talus but that is my home port I generly launch from space from. About the only way I can fix this is by restarting the client completely but yea these freeze ups are starting to happen more often now as of late.

I read in the bug thread that
Talus had some spawning issues, and caused this. /travelling to another planet and launching from there was a workaround mentioned.

Grrr, dang it now that you mention it I do recall it only happening when I launch from Talus.And thats my effing home port too.

I have the same GD problem....pissed me off royally...as I try to load more components on my ship to test them.

Same problem for me, and I did notice that it was talus that was doing it so I stopped trying to launch/land there and just travel in.
Hope they get that fixed soon, any patches today?

I had this issue the other evening on Lok, and I was thinking it was because the planet was exceptionally busy. I know Arsani launches from Dearic [*peasleblossom waves*], is it possible that all the peeps hopping in and out to get clone armor is what's causing your problems?

Don't think so, Dearic was pretty slow last time it happened, and it was the worst freeze yet.

Same problem, didn't realize it was Talus only, but it did happen twice while I was running the Clone Armor misions outta Dearic. Must be Talus.
