Thread: Freelance Tier 3 Trainer Question

Greetings,

I just reached 2222 in my Freelance Profession and have hit snag. I can't get into Jabba's palace to see my next trainer.

I am wondering if there is way to reach my trainer, in Jabba's throne room, that does not require me to do the themepark. I have never done it and at this time, have negative Jabba faction anyway.

If there is no other way, then I will have to do the themepark. But it just doesn't make any sense to me that Freelance would have to do something like a themepark while the others didn't. Unless they do, and I have been misinformed.

Thanks

Im pretty sure you have to do enough of the themepark to get into Jabba's throne room. I have an Imperial toon on Starsider and I had to do the themepark at the Emperor's retreat before I could use the launch terminal there...even though my trainer was right outside the building giving missions. It's just an oversight by the devs. I say go ahead and do the themepark...if anything it adds to your bio and counts towards unlocking....if you haven't already.

Ok, thanks.

I don't mind doing the themepark that much. It is just now, I am way behind my girlfriend who took Rebel is all ready done all three of her tier 3 boxes, and I have yet to start mine. We were at the same exect spot yesterday though. hehe. Was just hoping there was a faster way.

Off to get some Jabba FP now.

Alternately there is a mission i received during tier two from the comms Garn at Tatoo Station. He opened up saying:" ah your one I am supposed to give sensitive missions too." once when i comm'ed him to land. I took the mission and during the process received some forgeable papers to get into jabba's throne room without doing the theme park. I would assume this is to allow non-combat land professions access.

Personally I did the theme park. It's not difficult, especially now that there are vehicles in the game.

I did this and didn't get the document. HOWEVER, I had negative Valerian FP, so that might have been what did it

I did this and had to do the Jabba theme at least up to Bib so I could get into the throne room (where the trainer is).

I had -5000 Jabba faction since I had previously been a rather loyal Valarian employee.

Of couse, I'm also cl 80 so after about five or six anti-Valarian missions from the terminal I had enough postive faction to get Reelo to talk to me.

Funny thing is when I first arrived after being sent from Mos Eisley (thank God I'm out of that laggy place) I talked to the pilot at the front door. He said I had to get on Jabba's good side to gain entrance into the Palace (ie. faction points).

Talking to Reelo (the first time), he said to me that I was busy at the time and did I want to be free of my prior obligation and work for him. Looking at my datapad and waypoints there was nothing showing up. I was confused. No waypoint, no mission info. And the Mos Eisley trainer hadn't given me a mission, he just told me I'd find my new trainer at Jabba's.

So, of course, I let him free me of my obligations and began working for him.

But after reading this thread, I went back to Mos Laggy and spoke again with my old trainer and he again informed me of the trainer at Jabba's. Looking in my inventory, there were no papers. And when I went back to Jabba's no one there let me gain entrance into the palace.

So I just went ahead and finished the theme park.

At cl80 it's just a matter of time.

However, I was kinda surprised at the number of low combat level characters (like around cl5) that were attempting the theme park.

The papers were supposedly obtained by doing a mission given by the Tatooine Space Station, not talking to Dravis or Shamdon.

This is one of those ongoing problems that trip up a lot of new pilots in the SA. Unfortunately, most of them don't find out about it until it's too late and then it's theme park time. Plus, the mission that gives you access to the Palace seems to be bugged for some folks. It's probably a a day late and a credit short, but, tell your friends...

Hello, I must be going. I cannot stay, I came to say I must be going. I'm glad I came but just the same I must be going.
