Thread: Booster for Red Tie

Hey guys, I have just gotten my Red Tie and have all of my components in place except for my booster. I have about 9k mass left for this and was wondering if crafted is better then re'ed and what level would be best to fit in this amount of mass.

A Mark III booster with overcharger comes in around 6600 mass. You can have 10-11 seconds of boost of 38-39 speed (390) or 15-16 seconds of boost at 32-33 (320-330), or somewhere in between. Divide booster energy by consumption rate to get the number of seconds of boost. I find crafted boosters have a higher speed. An REd one might have slightly better stats overall, but the speed would most likely be lower.
Everything is approximate because you do not really know until you make it, but the calculations in my spreadsheet are always very close.

I just have a lvl 1 booster on my crimson Tie. With good engines and engine over charge 3, it is more than enough to get any from any trouble I might get myself into.

I already have premium parts outfitting my Tie. 3800 mass 86 speed engine with ypr all over 65, Level 10 speed crafted blaster, 14.9 second Droid interface, 1800 f/b shields,1000 charge capacitor, mark 2 armor, 13400 generation reactor, MK4 Proton Launcher. I have that much mass left so i want the most bang for my buck (or mass in this case) since I have 9k left over. Mabey I will just throw in a level 6 pre-nurf engine. Just got another one today. Traded an adk again. Man I am so getting the better end of these deals.
