Alright, I did the Kashyyyk station missions, talked to the guy that looks like Kit Fisto.. I answered "strong", and they sent me to the Rebel station, where I did 1 mission. Now when I return to the Kit Fisto guy, he says talk to the rebel station, but when I talk to the rebel station, all they offer are duty missions.

did I screw it up?

Sounds like you're a ground Rebel/space privateer and Eyma, in his rather limited wisdom, has sent you to the wrong station. The final two missions of the Vaksai quest are out of Kashyyyk station. See if they'll offer you any more challenging missions.
