Thread: Calrification on Mastery XP

I was well out of my respec period as were the two other people I mastered with. I mastered on Sunday started Rebel on Tuesday and ive played pretty much every day since CU. The only other respec period that I'm aware of was the freebie from yesterday. I got the spacial and the music for recieving a new badge but never looked at it to check.


So then the answer is yes I should be gettign the XP bonus but becasue of the missing badge I'm not?

I swearI read the FAQ andI posted this question there but here goes.


I mastered Pilot in the Smugglers Aliance the resigned so I could work on Rebel pilot should I be getting an XP bonus?

And if so could the reason Im not be becasue I never got the mastery badge.


Ive been told yes and no on both things. The FAQ leads me to belieive that ifI was to work on another freelance pilot squadron Iwould recieve the extra XP but a person I know sasy they did basicly the same thing as me and are gettign the extra XP.


The Badge according to CSR wasnt granted do to respec ( I was a week out of respec timers) and it would be granted when the respec Mastery badeg hold was lifted. (doesnt explain why the two peopleI mastered with got their badges)

You need the badge to get the xp. The game doesn't recognised you of having mastered something without the badge for it.

Did you drop it before your respec period ended?


If so, that's why. You only got badges for those professions you had mastered when your respec was finished. Anything during the respec period didn't count, as this could be too easily abused.


What really sucks is that pilot wasn't even a respec eligible profession anyways so it really wouldn't have mattered for this, but they did the simplest thing by holding it for everything, and not just those professions you could respec.

Sorry for the noob question but what gain in exp do you get if you drop a master skill in pilot and retrain in another faction orsquadron pilot tree?

oh...do you need to drop your entire pilot tree to get a novice in a different squadron or faction?

you get 2x the exp for the second faction and then 3x the exp for the third faction.

Correct. That's why I am stuck. Aced during respec and I have that damn "RespecNOT Ending" bug so I don't dare change yet. So nowI log in next to the pilot cooridinator and check my badges with my fingers crossed... still no luck as of yet.

I am in the same situation, even though I am pretty sure I got my badge hence I didnt get my respec profession badges yet.


I got back into the game around the 12th / 13th of May, add 21 days = well over but I was still able to respec.


I mastered RSF last night and didnt get that badge either but I saw that the Medal is Bio Linked so we should at least have "proof" that we mastered it and get the badge no problem.


I am slightly hacked that I grinded twice the xp I should have, not having the formular I didnt realize that there was something wrong.


Now I just hope that they set it straight soon and get me out of this respec mess.


Pretty much all left to do nowdays is Badge Collecting anyway ...

The nore I think about this the more it bugs me. Pilot wasnt somethign that came easy for me I really had to work to learn good flying techniques and get my TMA up to snuff. This wasnt like the other professions I mastered where all ineed was a buff, ahrisha, brandy, and a good solo group. I feel like Ive imporved allot since my first flight and now no badge, no x2 xp. And a crappy answer from CSR patrick who it seems never bothered to read my ticket.
