Thread: space and faction?????

Hi, I am new to space, and I am having trouble understanding the way faction mworks in space. My brothers and I were all playiong through the space gam e together, but I had a busy week and they got ahead of me. We are working on privateer. I have one mission left from the vaerian contact in the lucky despot, but my brothers are now doing missions for jaba... If i try to help out on one of their missions, I cant damage the targets, because they are valerian.. and vice versa.. Is there any way around this, or am I stuck to do my missions alone untill we are in the same spot?

You work for the Smuggler's Alliance, and as part of that, your boss Talon Karrde hires you out at different points in the plotline. Where you are now, you work for lady Valarian and can't damage her ships. Later on, you are sent to work for Jabba, and can't damage his ships. It will change as soon as you finish tier2.


IMPORTANT: if you are new to the ground and space games both, and do not want to have to go through a large portion of the Jabba Theme Park to see your next trainer, then talk to the Tatooine Space station about special work BEFORE you complete tier2. The mission is more difficult than you are used to, but the reward is important. You will get a blank certificate that you can put your name on and turn in when you go to Jabba's. This will get you access to the throne room and your trainer without needing to complete the Theme Park. For more details, look in the Pilot FAQ under "How do I land at..."
