Thread: Logitech Wingman Extreme Pro 3D settings?
What are your settings?
Having graduated from the mouse, learning to fly by joystick is becoming a headache. So I'm looking to find out what your settings are for this joystick? Perhaps others will be interested to know as well...

Yeah, you and I are using the same Joystick, and it's a damn good one.
My setup is basically this, the joystick itself controls pitch/yaw... the twist action controls the roll.
The trigger, of course does the primary blasters. I have a different setting than most would probably think. It not only fires the front blasters, it also cycles the primary weapons. Basically, what this does is fires the first weapon, pauses for about half a firing rate, then fires each weapon individually. I found this slightly decreases capacitor drain.
The side thumb button I use for ordinance. This is set up the same way that the primary weapon is. It cycles between each bomb/missile launcher. The unfortunate aspect to this is that it sometimes will fire chaff at inappropriate times.
The throttle control is obviously used for that
On the top of the Joystick, where the HAT is, I have the bottom left button to target enemy players, and the one on the right to target whatever is in front of my crosshair. I can not for the life of me remember what I have the top two buttons set to, if I even set those up.
The 6 buttons on the left of the base, I have the two farthest from me set to cycle component forward/back.
the two in the middle, the left one is set to boost, the right one is target closest enemy npc.
the final 2, which are closest to me, i have set up so the left one will converse with a space station, and the right one will drop chaff.
I'm actually about to change the configuration for this slightly, but not exactly sure what I'm going to do with it. I'll post back when I figure out my better way of configuring this thing.
