Thread: Storm Squadron...SOLO, the details

Can I get a "woot!" Have to pat myself on the back for this one. Just mastered my 6th Squadron (last night), late last night and it was Storm Squadron. To Vegitaa and 1st_ Viduus, I beat your guy's times!!!!

Statistics

17.25 hours total, including grinding XP and doing missions...

Deaths-0

Failed missions-1 Tier 3, mission 3

In system Hypers to avoid blowing up-0

Ships used-TIE/LD, TIE fighter, TIE/In, TIE/Interceptor, TIE/Adv.


Soloed the whole way.

comments-

1. Storm Squadron easily has the longest missions of the 6 squads I have completed (Storm, Inquisition, Black Epsilon, RSF, Smuggler Alliance, and Havoc)


2. Storm has about 12 times more Awings in its missions than any other squad.

3. Weapon overload 3 and disabling engines on those buggers are your best friends.

4. Not the hardest tier 3, I think Black Epsilon wins there, but easily the MOST mentally taxing squadron, especially tier 4.


This all said, I am happy to be giving up TIE's and going back to my X and Bwings. Gotta finish up CorSec, Vortex, and Crimson Phoenix first tho.


Maybe I am tooting my own horn too much, but hey, this squad was tough, and I think that anyone that finishes it, and especially anyone who solos it deserves recognition, be it thier first or ninth ace.

Good job!!!!! Yep beat my time, I died a couple more times than you too I think. Have to check with Vid on his time but you definately beat me! WOOT!!!! Congrats!


Nuetral is alot of fun, think you'll really enjoy flying those ships after being in TIE's this long (hehehe.. the mass on those things is incredible!!! Dune-Lizard for the win!)
