Thread: A ship style question.

Hi
i have searched for an answer and read the FAQs but no answer as i can see.
there are 8 images of the kihraxz ship, 4 on the left 4 on the right.
how do you make your ship look like the ship on the left ? (with the V shape engines things)

The engine appearance has to do with the engines you strap on. There are 2 varieties for every ship. Test different engines to find one that gives that look, then when you get it RE'd with others, make sure the SW puts that one in the tool first.

thank you for that.
now , i guessed it was to do with engines but the engines seem to be hung under the wings and that v shape thingy seemed to be where the booster goes. but i will take your kind advice and work my way thru the engines.
if anyone has already done this and would kindly post which types give the v shape visual effect i would be most grateful.

Hold up, those are the boosters and not the engines. I hadn't flown a Kihraxz in a long time, but I thought maybe it was, as I made sure to get the V-shape as well and spent some time doing so.
Basically, psikobunny's suggestion remains a good one, only in regards to boosters and not engines. I remember all the green, squarish boosters (as opposed to the gray cylindrical ones) give the V-shape, and I think some of the gray ones did as well. You'll just have to experiment around a while.
