Can I become a pilot without having JTL?
If so I went to this rebel lady on tatooine and shes like..."You don't look like no pilot boyyyyeeee"
.....and won't train me.....

No, you can't get a trainer to train you in novice pilot until you have JTL installed and enabled on your account.

Negative land lubber. You gotta get JTL... or better yet, get the rage of the wookiees expansion download which comes with JTL.

Sorry to let you down, but they're right.
Despite that... Welcome to Star Wars: Galaxies. I'm afraid the place is a bit of a mess right now, but we're trying to get it cleaned up. Feel free to look into the Rage of the Wookiees coming out soon (which will, as mentioned, include JtL in it), and feel free to ask silly questions.... everyone else does.

You get JtL with it? Not only that, but you "JtL+" (the + meaning the addition of some interesting new ship chassis' and a new system of asteroid mining). RotW will also introduce Kashyyyk, which will of course be *the* place to be for those people not hopelessly addicted to playing Asteroids (tm) in space.
Hey, I don't want to stop you from going out tomorrow and grabbing JtL, I'd just hate to see you added to the people who have made a point to complain about the fact that JtL is being included in the purchase of RotW.
