So, maybe I'm just retarded. It happens from time to time. But is there an *easy* way to sort loot so you don't sell it to the chassis dealer? It seems like the blighter can even look inside of backpacks and such you're carrying. Am I just dense or do I have to offload it somewhere else before I pay him a visit?

sort of ... the dealer checks your bags first it seems (arse backwards if you ask me) but if you toss all the stuff you want to sell in an empty back pack that you have equipt the firstitems on the list will be the ones in the bag... just keep an eye out for the last item in the bag and where the one in your main inventory is and its name.. that should help alittle but other than that i have not found a way

That's deeply stupid
But now that I know that, I can work around the system. Thanks a tonne!

In my experience, the chassis dealer buys the stuff in my main inventory first, then stuff in bags. I think each level is further sorted by what's been in my inventory longest. This could be affected by what kind of UI sorting you're using.
I'll pay closer attention after I run my next duty and see if I can figure anything else out.

It would be nice to get a change for this. If the chassis dealer would only check for things in my main inventory, it sure would take care of the main reason I don't sell as often as I should.

I agree, this is a change that shouldn't be too difficult to do, we should have it added to the pilot issues.

Hewill even go through your data pad and rifle though your droid's storage modules. nosey bast......
I'm sure first time up I sold something I didn't want to.. really didn't know what I was looking for when those rewards came. Now, if I am selling off to the dealer, I either stash what I want to keep, or I sell with my inventory open so I can closely doublecheck what is selected on the sell dialog.
