Thread: Which Imp Squadron is the most fun?

I've seen many threads discussing which squadron is the hardest, but nobody ever mentioned what they enjoyed the most. I recently re-rolled my character and I'm looking for a fun Imp squadron. I'm a good pilot with good RE'd equipment so difficulty is not really a concern. I'd like to avoid alot of long boring escort missions though. Which squad should I choose?

Don't go Imp 
I am not as familiar with Inquisition, but I have done Storm as a wingwoman, and did Black Epsilon myself. Black Epsilon was actually a ton of fun. The first trainer was a hoot to read the dialouge and it actually sucked me in to the semi-plot line a bit.
That said, both Storm and Epsilon have several long escorts.

I'm a fan of Storm squadron myself. Difficult, challenging, and completion is a mark of honor amungst many.

Here is another I have no experiece in X but Y is great post: I have only tried the Inquisition, so can't speak much on the other two, but with all the mission tied to the movies I almost feel like there is a plot going on.

Rebel or Freelancer maybe.
Seriously though, I've solo'd Black Epsilon and Storm Squadron, and I'm currently on the way up Imperial Inquisition. I have been keeping track of every mission - what you meet at what level, what reward, etc - and so far the Imperial squadrons are heavily into escorts.
I'm going to do all 9 squadrons before it's all over, and I can only hope that Freelance and Rebel missions lean more towards"Go out there and shoot something."

All i know is im working on ahh.. lets see 1... 2..3.. err hell i lost count , my 3rd or 4 time mastering imperial pilot.
Im at a point now where the instant an escort mission comes up.. i just want to /quit.
*cries*.. last time.. im doing this.. NOOOOO MORE!!!!

I've aced the imperial inquisition on a previous character...maybe I should do a rebel or neutral ace first for fun? If they're that much easier than the Imp squadrons it might not take long. I guess they get some different rewards right? Maybe that would be worth it.

You've mastered all the pilot profs twice? Which one out of all of them did you enjoy the most?

I honestly can't tell you, its all a blur to me. Id have to say i probably enjoyed imperial pilot as a profession more, however i hate those bloody escort missions. Dont reall alot of those as a rebel pilot. If your looking for post ace content, i think rebel pilot has it better. They can pull BS duty missions, and teir 4 factional destroy duty missions for FP when overt. Imperial pilot has neither.

I enjoyed the inquisitor squadron, (which is the only one imperial path I've gone down). It is somewhat buggy, I did not get any missions for Tier 4, all I had to do is patrol for each of the tier 4 missions. I did not get any reward either, all well, no biggy, I might do BE next, it seems interesting, although, it seems a little "darker". You have to start out killing your own "innocent" troops. I haven't heard much about storm, other that its hard.
