So while on the ground I can click on someone and find out who they are and possibly what faction they belong too. In space I can't seem to be able to click on friendly ships and get any information on them. How do I contact a PC ship or how do I find out who's flying so I can /tell?

Uhh, PC ships are named CharName (Ship Name)

So targeting me will get you:

this name apears in the top right hand corner of your screen.

K targets the closest player ship and L cycles through player ships in your area. With the exception of the type of ship they are flying, theres no way to tell which faction they belong to. A quick /ex while they are targeted will show the ship and very little informaiton with it.. Or you could do a /who but if they are PvPing, they most likely will not have their tag up.
