I don't know if this is a factor for teh Rebs but I bet it is. Can they add teh code for going Overt in Space to the Emperors Claw Space Station? I mean it is just stupid that the place you MUST go to get to Kessel and Deep Space and is an Imperial Space Station wont let you declare also.

That's a good question and I've wondered if the inability to declare at the DS/Kessel stations is intentional. There's a number of declaring-based issues out there (most notably when it comes to privateers in Deep Space), so I'll definitely bring them all up at some point.

It seems like a fairly minor issue, however, so it will probably have to stay on the backburner while we're testing RotW, going over longstanding bugs, etc.; time's going to be short for the next few weeks here. I hear you, though.

While we're on the topic of declaring, can we get it so Freelance pilots can declare for a faction and then still be able to get into Deep Space? This has been bugging me...

I see this as a short enforced time sink so that there is at least some window of vulnerability after you declare. If you can declare at a station you can instantly hyper from, there is no reason or way a member of the opposing side could guard it. At leastwith separate stations, there is the tactiacl potential to set up a blockade, and lower the other side's fp gains in Deep Space. Seems to be a reasonable feature to promote "the war" so to speak.

I'm going to try to find out the status on that issue very soon, Odev. I know that's one that affects a lot of pilots out there.
