Hey folks, I need some advice. I'm a freelance pilot on a tier three mission for Jabba. He basically wants me to make some deliveries to imperials in Dathomir space. While I'm flying around, I'm getting jumped by what feels like endless spawns of deathwatch fighters that I can't seem to kill fast enough... I get them whittled down to 1, when the next group of 3 or 4 jump in... I never have a safe time to dock with the imperial shuttle, much less give my weapons and shields a breather. Any suggestions on how to handle this? Is this something where it truly is an endless supply and I just have to quickly dock and move on to the next waypoint, or is there an end to the fighters and I just need to slug my way through them until they're all dead?

I'm flying a dunelizard... Skills: 2/3/3/2

Engine: 79 top speed, pitch/yaw/roll of 63

Shield: 1032 front and back

armor: 603armor/752 hitpoints front ; 875armor/931 hitpoints back

capacitor: 857 energy with a 34.7 recharge

weapon 1: 1129-1652 damage, .50 v shields and armor, refire of .34

weapon 2: 1036-1570 damage, .50 v shields and armor, refire of .33

no missiles

chaff launcher installed

Don't destroy them....just disable.....it's alot faster to bring down a ships reactor/engine then the chassis. After that is takes a couple of minutes for the ship to selfdestruct. This should give you enough breathing room to recharge sheilds and/or dock etc..

Will do. Been debating that, don't know why I haven't just gone and done it.

As for the waves themselves, are they endless or do they eventually stop coming?

Thanks!

I haven't done this particular one yet, but from the sounds of it, you will need to make the delivery before the waves will stop. I have completed several delivery type missions for the imperial and rebel factions and the waves continued to come until I had delivered the package.

It is in your best interest to do so as quickly as possible, because many times the waves will not hyper out after you complete the mission! This means you will need to fight them off, and the fewer there are,the better your chances of survival.

Well I'v tried to BFIthrough the waves and I reached 29 waves before I got tired and just hypered out to another point in the system and high tailed it to the rendevous. From my experience if you disable the ships from two waves the next wave does not spawn until all the ships in the first wave are destroyed/selfdestruct.

Disable is THE way to go on this. It will slow the waves down long enough for you to dock with all three of the shuttles. If you really want to clinch it, hook up with someone to fly on your wing. I had a guildie flying as my wingwoman during this mission and it went off without a hitch. And since they're pirates, you don't have to worry about your wingman's faction interfering with their ability to watch your six. Just make sure they know not to blast the Imperial Shuttles if they're Rebel Pilots.

Hello, I must be going. I cannot stay, I came to say I must be going. I'm glad I came but just the same I must be going.
