you honestly think i can take on a tier 5....i was there earlier and god, i died in like 12 seconds...remember i'm 2-2-1-1 if you have good ideas/tactics for doing this, i'd love to hear 'em...i couldn't stay on their tail long enough to hit them, they'd just fly away from me (out-manouver) I can stick with my lowly duty for now, but is getting old lol thanks again

Soo? On bria was doing Tier 4 Trader Escort in endor, and i was grinding for my first tier 2 skill. It's not hard, but u have to make sure u stay ontop of them and make sure they dont get behind u and if u do cut ur engines aim ur ship 90 degree down then use the booster for a few secs after that turn it off and go back to chasing the enemy.

Fly to Lok- Nym's Hovel and turn on the POI for the Corsairian Crescent. There are 3 tier3 Kimogilas that spawn there. I recommend finding someone who is in the same situation as you, and going together. with 2 pilots its easy and great xp, with one pilot it can be tough. Its a pretty popular farming spot, so you might find someone already there. dont cry about getting loot, just get a couple shots in on each one for full xp and let the farmer have his way.

Well, I was speaking from experience. I am redoing Storm Squadron on another server and thats what I grinded (ground?) my tier 2 XP on. This was in the same TIE light duty as everyone else gets. Not a souped up Heavy TIE.

Ackbr,

If you're Tier 2 and are having trouble with higher tier ships, go to Dantooine and get a destroy duty from the Dantooine Space Station.

It's a mix of tier 2 & 3 ships, and they all consist of the large and slow freelancer types. You'll get your XP in no time.

go to dathomir and farm tier 5 dunelizards, they're big and slow (relatively) and it only takes a few to get a full box

And of course, if you've got a friend with a Multi-Player Ship you can always gun heavy stuff in Deep Space and get XP that way.

hmm I remember that hump... Frankly I just found a higher level group and used the same strategy that you can use now on the ground, hit once and you get EXP. so you can grind it out on higher level stuff with a group.

sorry if its not clear, very tired....

The Lok tier threes are very very easy. Like mentioned above. I'm 1111 right now, and since they don't aggro you, you can fly up behind one, target them, and then blast away. disable them first, it goes more quickly. I think i'm going to give the tier 4s a shot for more xp.
