I am about to hit 4/3/3/3 and I since there are so many new ships to choose from, I was wondering which one would suit me best.

Any thoughts or suggestions would help me out a lot.

The heavy variant of the starter ship for yourparticular faction maybe? I still like to use mine even at ace.

I'd say Rebels are better off with an X-Wing (enough maneuverability, 3 weapon slots to 1), Privateers are better off with the Rihk if they can handle the sluggishness, else probably a Dunelizard (the one starting with "I" might be good too, don't know), and Imperials want the Heavy TIE or Tie Advanced. Of course, if you have access to any of the quest ships, they're even better if you don't mind risking decay.
