A while ago (like 4 or 5 months) I looted this level 10 capacitor. I never looked at it twice due to the crappy damage on it, but having just gotten into the whole RE thing, I noticed that it's mass is only 5.3k!

This isn't a price check per say, I'm just wondering if this would be valuable to someone building an uber cap.
Thanks

The equipment level is 10, but the RE level is only 5. So that means you will have to RE it with 4 other lvl 5 parts. And from what Ive seen, the looted lvl 5 parts normally arent very good at all.

That particular brand of capacitors is pretty much Vendor fodder. Like Boba said, level 5 capacitors are pretty worthless. The majority of them will have the same stats as that one you have, and the final product will be worse then most level 2 capacitors.
That being said, there is one capacitor that is more valuable, since the Cert and RE are opposite of yours. They have a Cert level 5, RE level 10, so you can make cert level 5 capacitors that have level 10 stats. Granted, they are extremely heavy for most fighters, but quite nice if you are flying a heavy variant.
Just remember, RE level counts more then Cert level, in most cases. And remember the odd level rule: If it's a Capacitor, booster, or engine, odd levels are bad.
