i am fairly new to pilot and am doing the mining quest , i am up to where you have to take the contents of a freighter and tractor beam it to your own ship , i am using the grevious ship and have a normal weapon in weapon 1 and the tractor beam in weapon 2 , all i seem to be able to do is blow the hell out of the other ship which is stupidly able to be destroyed. firstly how do i use the tractor beam and am i doing anything wrong , thx for your help in advance.

Are you firing you weapon 1 as well? Just use the tractor beam. No need to disable or otherwise shoot the frieghter. Just use your number keys to fire the beam alone until you get the mission compleat. BTW you do know that this quest is bugged and you won't be able to finish till publish 24 right? Its fun and the free mining laser and tractor beam have been nice though. Good luck.

u have to use teh "2" button if ur using greivous ship. that activates the tractor beam. "1" for wepaon slot 1. 2 for weapon slot 2. 3 for weapon slot 3.
