I am looking to buy a KSE Firespray because, well I want one - but I keep being told that they are really bad
Can I get some feedback on the Firespray - is it REALLY that bad?
I dont PvP in space - just want a higher loadout than a heavy X-wing but better control than B-Wing
any advice appreciated

The firespray does have a higher mass (around 213-214k), but it only has two blaster positions.
I have one but rarely fly in it due to the fact that i also own a krayt, which has a lilttle less mass, but can hold 3 forward firing guns.
Personaly preference really.
However i might fly in it more after i RE my level 10 gun after Pub 24 releases.

Based on that statement there, you may enjoy it. You'll have around 30K less mass to play with, and only 2 guns compared to the B-wings' 4, but the Firespray makes a good PvE ship if you're looking for a heavy fighter.

I don't know about PvP but the tier 5 Firesprays in PvE are easy kills. The rear is just one big oval shaped target and it takes almost nothing to disable the engines.
