Just a quick poll.... Oh boy we love those right?

When you think of your SWG character, what do you think of?

Examples might be, Imperial Officer... Pilot, Jedi Knight, Combat Medic, Doctor... etc... regardless of what template you use, you surely identify with an aspect of it more than the other professions.

I think of my toon as an Imperial Flight Officer (though I dont fly for the Navy - hence "Imperial Marines.")

On Bria I think of myself as an Imperial Starfighter Command officer. I roleplay that way as well. On starsider I just consider myself lucky that they let me tag along in the events.

Halyn - so you are Han Solo-esque ... When I first started SWG I wanted to be a Han Solo type, but (bless you for your patience) the smuggler content didnt hold my attention.

Well.. I have a whole backstory for my character, but the short version is..

Imperial officer and pilot, working directly for the Inquisition (bounty hunting where appropriate to slay jedi, the rest of the time flying either directly as an Imperial Inquisition enforcer, or undercover in Rebel / Freelance squads).

Ohhh that's your story is it GK !!!?? Lol.

I went undercover opps to steal Vaders JSF off him. Worked quite well seeing as I have 4 now How are you doing by the way m8? Broken the record if 5hrs and ?? mins yet?

A business woman, sympathetic toward the Alliance, but keeps quiet about it as she dosen't have the combat skills to become involved directly. Also fairly handy in her Dunelizard.

5 hours 45 mins from novice to ace (Crimson Phoenix) with a lunch break in the middle (about 45mins to an hour, I didn't time it).

The 'roleplaying' backstory to my character is a pretty long one, but the still-short-but-not-as-short-as-the-short-short version is..

Imperial TIE Squadron leader Arrain Saer, highly decorated and stationed with the ISD Adjudicator .. Adjudicator was destroyed in a rebel attack that should have been fairly easily defeated, the admirality needed a scapegoat to use as an excuse for losing an ISD to an inferior force, so the blame was shifted to Captain Saer (his TIE squadron was adjudged to be out of position and therefore directly responsible for the ISD's loss).

Captain Saer is demoted and taken off squadron leader duty, and has all previous decorations and commendations stripped from his record.. ends up in a brawl with another rival officer who taunted him over his loss of rank, and was discharged from the Navy to an Imperial prison colony. Released after two years and reassigned to the legions of Storm Troopers based on Tatooine for a minimum service term to relearn proper respect for authority, and then reassigned to the Inquisition after displaying exemplary skills that were going to waste as a standard storm trooper grunt.

.. now rapidly gaining a reputation within the Inquisition as a ruthless and efficient pilot and enforcer

Maybe I'll become an image designer and say I'm working undercover for the Imperial Hairstyling Department.
